About Me
I have an extensive amount of industry experience, working and volunteering for a number of organisations. As a professional, I pride myself on being accountable, ambitious and am an overall positive person. I’ve been told by a number of clients that I have a very optimistic and friendly attitude. I believe I can inspire and engage even the most sceptical person. Because of my go-getter approach to life, I am incredibly organised and can balance many different opportunities with full-time work.
I have a double degree in Journalism and Business from the Queensland University of Technology and jumped head-first into a digital marketing career upon graduation. For over 7 years, I have worked as a marketing professional, whilst undertaking freelance writing, reviewing and publicity opportunities. During my many endeavours, I have also managed my love for the creative arts and community theatre. My work has been published online and in print, and has won many awards across Southeast Queensland.
In 2014, I started my own creative production company called Mira Ball Productions. With this company, I have toured many new and existing theatrical productions. In 2019, I launched a digital news and event service called Theatre Haus, where I work as a Journalist and the Creative Director. In the same year, I was selected by La Boite Theatre Company for their new ‘TWENTY-ONE’ program as a Director, and also became a published playwright with Australian Plays.

Freelance Writing
I have a Bachelors Degree in Journalism from QUT and have had my work published in a many online and print publications. I have also received awards within this field and have worked as a journalist.
Digital and Content Marketing
I have over 8 years of experience in this field, working client-side for a large logistics company. I have also freelanced my skills to SMEs and volunteered my expertise to a number of community organisations.
Acting and Directing
I am an award-winning actor and director, who has worked with a number of theatre organisations across Southeast Queensland. In 2019, I was selected as part of La Boite Theatre Company's 'Twenty-One' program to further my skills in this area.
Producing
With my own theatre group, Mira Ball Productions, I have produced and toured many new and existing works. During this time, I have gained a lot of insight into independent theatre making and creative producing. Most recently, I ventured into digital live stream producing.
Playwright
I am a published playwright with Australian Plays. My one-act scripts have had independent tours across Southeast Queensland and have been accessed nationwide. I have also conducted workshops in writing regarding these achievements.
